Next Generation Crypto Module

 

​The Next Generation Crypto Module (NGCM) is a module or IP that is loadable onto legacy systems, it provides an embeddable cryptographic subsystem that has been targeted to meet the needs of a wide and varied client base including the DoD, Intel Community, Department of Homeland Security (DHS), NATO and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) as well as commercial applications.

NGCM is based on COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) components and consists of a COTS System on a Module (SoM) which includes a Power Supply, RAM, and Flash; a custom circuit card that contains additional battery backed-up RAM, high assurance Security Circuitry and interface circuitry; and a heat sink along with an integrated cover designed to provide a layer of tamper protection. 

 

NGCM provides software/firmware update capabilities and is designed to have the processing power required to implement future quantum resistant algorithms.
